In the biggest year of his career, Big Sean returned home to show some gratitude. The Detroit rapper played during halftime of the Detroit Lions’ annual Thanksgiving game on Thursday. He prepared for the Lions game against the Philadelphia Eagles by kicking with esteemed mascot, Roary.

Then he jumped on stage, playing a pair of Dark Sky Paradise singles in “One Man Can Change the World” and “Blessings,” which you can see some of below. Unfortunately Drake didn’t make it from Toronto to join him.

It was easy to tell this moment was big for Big Sean. He expressed his thanks afterward on Twitter.

It surely helped that the Lions stomped the Eagles 45-14, giving Detroit and Sean an unforgettable day.
