In entirely unrelated news, he also dons a Minnie Mouse apron in honor of Thanksgiving
We’re one step closer to a new single from One Direction.
Liam Payne announced Thursday that “Infinity” will be the third single from the band’s fifth album, Made in the A.M. Presumably, a new music video will follow, as well.
“Infinity” was written by Jamie Scott, John Ryan, and Julian Bunetta — one of the few songs on the record not written or composed by the boys. We first heard “Infinity” when it was released as a promotional single following “Drag Me Down,” and it’s a song Harry Styles previously told EW he’s particularly proud of.

The band performed the track live for the first time during their first-ever BBC Live Lounge, below.
Also on Thursday, One Direction tweeted out a photo of Payne wearing a Minnie Mouse apron in honor of Thanksgiving, because ’tis the season.
The snap comes from a Nov. 19 interview with Payne and Niall Horan for On Air With Ryan Seacrest; Payne can be seen in the same ensemble in a jokey Vine posted on Seacrest’s account, in which a Friendsgiving has gone horribly wrong. Questionable “Thug Life” caption aside, it must be said that the clip is downright cinematic. Really tells a story, you know?
