Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens

  • Movie

Where’s Luke Skywalker? Eagle-eyed viewers noticed he wasn’t in the Captain America: Civil War trailer either.

(Just kidding… Lighten up, Francis.)

But on Wednesday morning, a new video has been released from J.J. Abrams that — nope, still no Luke.

This one is not a trailer for the movie, but a promo video for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens charity initiative, Force For Change, which is raffling off tickets to the upcoming premiere in Los Angeles to anyone who donates $10 or more.

The video, which shows Abrams on the mixing stage for the movie, features clips from all the various Star Wars actors, both newcomers and favorites, revealing which personal charity of their choosing will be among the beneficiaries.

Watch to the end … You don’t want to miss anyone.

Next week, hmm …?

In case you missed it, Harrison Ford already made a video for the charity initiative in which he surprised past donors via Skype. Maybe Mark Hamill will be popping up on your screen in the near future, too.

Finally, for the spoiler-obsessed, if that counter on the wall behind him is accurate, it looks like Finn’s TIE Fighter escape takes place about 12 minutes in.
