The FBI Academy’s getting a little more crowded — at least on Quantico. The drama about the lives of the bureau’s best and brightest recruits will introduce three more NATs in multi-episode arcs during the second half of the season, EW has learned.

Jay Armstrong Johnson (Sex and the City) will join as Will Olsen, a book-smart NAT — he got his Ph.D. from Harvard at age 22 and once worked at the Jet Propulsion Lab — who lacks social skills. Lenny Platt (How to Get Away With Murder) will play Drew Perales, a retired NFL player who spent years fighting a class-action lawsuit against former employers, and uses that same drive (along with a healthy dose of charm) to get ahead. Finally, Li Jun Li (Minority Report) will appear as Iris Chang, a Shanghai-born, Queen Bee-type tech maven from a wealthy family who founded six startups in college, two of which were sold to Google.

All are NATs from the class ahead of the main cast of characters, which means Priyanka Chopra’s Alex is in for even more competition. The drama, which has continued to post solid ratings and received a full-season order earlier this month, has focused the season so far on the new class of recruits and the mystery of who bombed New York City after leaving the academy.

The incoming trio will appear on the show when it returns with new episodes in March. Quantico airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC, with its midseason finale airing Dec. 13.
