Coldplay’s seventh effort, A Head Full Of Dreams, isn’t out until next week (Dec. 4), but the group shared a teaser for their collaboration with Beyoncé, “Hymn For The Weekend,” today. On Coldplay’s Instagram account they ran a 15-second clip of the tune and it’s safe to say it left us wanting more. (They also shared clips of four other tunes, including the title track.)

When frontman Chris Martin spoke to EW he mentioned the Beyoncé collab and said, “I don’t know if you’ve come into contact with her, but she’s all goodness. And when she sings, she really puts you into her place.”

He also admitted he was rather nervous to ask her to join him in the studio. “This album is about celebrating and this angel figure kept popping up and I was thinking, ‘Gosh, Beyoncé would be perfect, but she’d never do it,’” he recalls. “One day, we were talking and I was trying to drop the hint, but I didn’t want to be imprudent. And she said I’ll do it.”

Check the teaser out below. A Head Full Of Dreams is out Friday, Dec. 4 and also features guest spots from Gwnyeth Paltrow, the former couple’s children, and Beyoncé and Jay Z’s daughter Blue Ivy. Yesterday, it was revealed that the collection also samples President Barack Obama singing “Amazing Grace.”
