In 1936, legendary athlete Jesse Owens stepped into the global spotlight when he appeared at the Berlin Olympics. Not only was Owens striving to prove himself as the greatest track and field champion of all time, but his very presence at the Olympic Games was politically charged, challenging Nazi ideals of white supremacy.

The new poster for the upcoming Owens biopic Race teases his appearance at the Olympics, where he went on to win four gold medals and cement his place in track history. Race, which stars Stephan James as Owens, was directed by Stephen Hopkins and also features Jason Sudeikis, Jeremy Irons, Carice van Houten, Shanice Banton, and William Hurt.

Race will hit theaters on Feb. 19, 2016. See the official poster below.
