Fetty Wap has gone from bubbling rapper to a gigantic young star in about nine months. This year has been great to him and all he wanted to do was share that love with his local mall over the weekend.

The “Trap Queen” rapper ventured to the Garden State Plaza mall on Saturday, fewer than 10 miles from his hometown of Paterson, New Jersey. He made it rain by throwing money at fans, documented in various social media videos, like the one below.

The rapper himself also hit Twitter to recap his day. It was sparked by seeing his little girl and enjoying his time with her.

Pretty cool move from Fetty, giving back to his community in an unconventional way. For those counting at home, $2,000 is $262 more than his trademark 1738/Remy Martin ad-lib.
