With production on War for the Planet of the Apes still underway, director Matt Reeves revealed the new title treatment for the film. More importantly, the update brings word that a “special” announcement will be made during this Sunday’s episode of The Walking Dead.

“And something else begins,” Reeves teased on Twitter. “Tune in to [The Walking Dead] Sunday night for a special [War for the Apes] announcement…”

When production first began, Reeves revealed a behind-the-scenes shot from the set featuring an ape actor in a motion-capture suit. No other details were provided regarding Sunday’s announcement, though perhaps it could be another look at the new film.

Andy Serkis reprises his role of Caesar for the third of the Planet of the Apes prequel movies. The cast also includes Steve Zahn, Amiah Miller, and Woody Harrelson. War is set to commence in theaters on July 14, 2017.
