What happens when R2-D2 and C-3PO meet the new droid from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, BB-8? Sparks fly, but in a good way. The trio sized each other up in a new commercial for British communications company O2.

The mechanical BFFs from the original films find themselves — once again — wandering a desert, only this time BB-8 is here to help them out. “So, tell us, what could be so important?,” the red-armed C-3PO asks upon meeting the rolling droid.

Anthony Daniels, who returns for Episode VII as C-3PO, told EW he’s not threatened by BB-8 because he’s also a fan. “I really fell for him the first moment on set, couldn’t believe what I was seeing, literally.”

The O2 commercial promotes the team-up between O2 and Star Wars; the company is giving its Priority customers the chance to win tickets to the U.K. premiere of The Force Awakens. More details are available on their official website. Meanwhile, The Force Awakens debuts in the U.S. on Dec. 18.
