You’ve heard his voice at the end of every episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine episode during the end credits. (“Fremulon.”) And now, on Sunday at 8:30 p.m., Nick Offerman finally makes an onscreen appearance in the Fox cop comedy as Frederick, the ex-boyfriend of Capt. Holt (Andre Braugher).

Tunrs out these two had a not-so-amicable breakup, with a “wooden duck situation” at least partially to blame. Frederick re-enters the picture when someone at the precinct has a medical situation, but before this bearded fellow springs to action, Raymond has some relationship-repairing to do. Press play to preview their icy reunion.
