Shawn Mendes and Fifth Harmony’s Camilla Cabello released a duet called “I Know What You Did Last Summer” late Tuesday night, and it only took a few hours for the track to break the top 10 on iTunes.

Mendes and Cabello had been teasing the song online for over a week with the hashtag “#IKWYDLS,” and, yep, it was at the top of Twitter trends all night on Tuesday as fans heard the track for the first time.

Mendes, who’s now best known for his hit “Stitches,” put out a teaser video with the song’s announcement just before midnight, and Cabello posted a message about recording the track to Instagram.

“I Know What You Did Last Summer” will appear on Mendes’ forthcoming Handwritten Revisited reissue, and in a recent interview Cabello revealed the song was written while they were backstage at Taylor Swift’s 1989 tour.

“We wrote this together backstage at one of Taylor’s 1989 shows out of a random jam session,” she tweeted last week.
