Sean Combs (aka P. Diddy, aka Puffy Daddy) celebrated his birthday on Nov. 4. To recognize the day, he released a 13-track, collaboration-heavy mixtape, MMM (Money Making Mitch. After some video clips with MMM‘s debut, a bigger behind-the-scenes look is here.

And he sets the tone right away. “I’m trying to be great,” he says at the beginning of the doc. “Y’all moving like average human beings.”

Various producers, artists, and peers float in and out of the video, including Kendrick Lamar and Kanye West, despite remaining absent on MMM.

Diddy’s entrepreneurial presence oozes throughout. “Motherf—–g Dre inspired me,” Diddy says at one point, referring to Dr. Dre and his album Compton.

With only one album remaining in his career—No Way Out 2—Diddy asserts one thing matters most. “Only the songs survive, son. Even when I’m gone, everybody gone, my kids gone, my songs are gonna be here. Only the songs survive — believe that, Jack,” he says. “Because I only make smashes.”

No Way Out 2 has no release date yet. See the 14-minute doc above.
