Paulie Walnuts may be sentenced to death. And the only man that can save him is… Rob Lowe?

Tony Sirico, a.k.a. mobster Paulie Walnuts on The Sopranos, will guest-star on Lowe’s new Fox comedy The Grinder.

Lowe, an alum of The West Wing, tweeted a photo of himself standing next to Sirico (in an orange prison jumpsuit) with the accompanying text “#TheWestWing #Sopranos feud has officially ended with this secret meeting today. #peace,” a nod to the two acclaimed dramas’ storied Emmy rivalry.

Sirico will appear in the show within the show — that is, the hit legal drama also titled The Grinder that starred Dean Sanderson (Lowe) as hard-driving attorney Mitch Grinder, EW has learned. He plays the role of Sebastian Cole, Mitch’s brusque, intimidating client who is facing the death penalty for a murder and is itching to prove his innocence. And we all know that the Grinder never settles… but what if he does?

The episode featuring Sirico — whose post-Sopranos TV credits include guest spots on Lilyhammer, Family Guy, Chuck, and Medium — is slated to air in January.

Other upcoming famous guests on The Grinder include Jason Alexander, Timothy Olyphant, Lowe’s old West Wing cast-mate Richard Schiff, and Napoleon Dynamite‘s Efren Ramirez.
