Lindsay Lohan has been busy collaborating with Duran Duran and campaigning for her 2020 presidential run, but after another lengthy hiatus from acting, Lohan is finally making movies again.

Lohan, whose last movie was The Canyons in 2013, announced Monday on Instagram that she’s working on a new film, titled The Shadow Within. Lohan added that she’ll be releasing a sneak peek of her character sometime this week.

The actress last appeared in a guest spot on the CBS comedy 2 Broke Girls in April 2014, and she made her stage debut later that year in the West End production of David Mamet’s play Speed-the-Plow.

Best known for her roles in early-2000s flicks like Freaky Friday and Mean Girls, Lohan’s film career slowed down after a string of arrests and legal problems. She announced in May of this year that she had satisfied her community service requirements and was off probation after her 2012 reckless driving case.
