Billy Eichner, Katie Couric host Thanksgiving parade on Billy on the Street
Let’s face it: we can only see a giant Garfield balloon and patriotic floats so much before they go stale — that’s why Billy Eichner is celebrating this Thanksgiving with a Maggie Gyllenhaal balloon instead.
In a sneak peek clip from Thursday’s Thanksgiving episode of Billy on the Street, we get in the Turkey Day spirit as Eichner and Katie Couric provide commentary for the pop culture reference-filled Billy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The spectacle features a Rooney Mara balloon, a float dedicated to the Showtime series United States of Tara, and the logo from SNL 40, because as Eichner puts it, “Turkey Day comes along every year, and usually so does an SNL tribute special to itself.” We also get to see a float dedicated to Mark Ruffalo’s acting roles, hear Couric say the phrase “Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Mila Kunis,” and reconnect with Billy on the Street favorite Elena.

Thursday’s new episode will also feature Eichner taking to the street with Meg Ryan, playing a game with Lucy Liu called “You’re an A**hole Billy or Screw You Lucy Liu!”, and a new game called “Mark Twain or Eddie Murphy?”
Billy on the Street airs Thursdays at 10:30 p.m. ET on truTV.
