Patti LaBelle is a soul legend, but today, a non-musical product of hers garnered Internet attention: her pie. A LaBelle-branded sweet potato pie can usually be bought at stores. The key word is usually: It’s been hard to track down after a video review by James Wright Chanel.

Despite difficulty opening the box, Chanel took the pie out (in between singing lines of “On My Own“) and dug into it. So how good was it? “You turn into Patti after eating this,” Chanel declares, before jumping to lines from “Isn’t It A Shame.”

LaBelle’s official Facebook page posted about the video the day it went online, and now, the pies are impossible to track down.

But it gets better for Chanel: Chicago’s Fox 32 News reports that LaBelle called Chanel, causing him to “cry like a baby.”

“She kept thanking me, she kept thanking me, and she just kept telling me how much she loved me and she just kept telling me to be me,” Chanel said. “She was like ‘Boy, you could sang!'” That’s as good of a review any singer can get, the LaBelle cosign.
