Sleepy Hollow: James McDaniel cast as Abbie and Jenny's father

Prepare for a family reunion on Sleepy Hollow.

NYPD Blue alum James McDaniel has been cast as Abbie and Jenny’s absent father, Ezra Mills, EW has learned. According to the Fox, the elder Mills reappears suddenly after leaving the sisters when they were young and expresses a “renewed interest in being a part of their lives.” He’ll appear in at least one episode after the series returns in February in its new Friday time slot.

McDaniel’s recent TV credits include Detroit 1-8-7, Amazon pilot Hysteria, recurring roles on Orange Is the New Black, The Good Wife, and Limitless, and guest appearances on Chicago P.D., Madam Secretary, Blue Bloods, and Forever.
