NBC changes Friday night schedule in wake of Paris attacks
NBC altered its programming lineup Friday evening in the wake of attacks that left more than 120 people dead and many more injured across Paris.
The network aired a rerun of the sitcom Undateable in the 8 p.m. ET time slot, rather than the live episode that was originally intended. Executive producer Bill Lawrence acknowledged the attacks on Twitter, writing “Goodnight. Be with your family.” He also posted a photo of the Undateable cast and crew holding up images of the Eiffel Tower as a peace sign.
NBC is airing original episodes of Truth Be Told and Grimm as planned at 8:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.
The 10 p.m. hour usually dedicated to Dateline will be used for live news coverage.
