'I'm there helping him and I love him and I've always loved him'
Khloé Kardashian will appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, where she’ll speak about estranged husband Lamar Odom’s condition and why she made the decision to hold off on their divorce.
“He has such a long way to go,” Kardashian tells host Ellen DeGeneres in a teaser clip from the upcoming episode. “He’s learning how to walk again and feed himself again and put sentences together … It’s a long, long road ahead.”
Odom was hospitalized in October after being found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel. He was in a coma for three days, and doctors allegedly found “cocaine and opiates” in his system — but they haven’t told that to Odom.
“We tell him he had a brain injury, I can’t tell him how that brain injury was caused because it will set him back,” Kardashian says.

Soon after Odom was hospitalized, Kardashian announced that she was putting off her divorce to Odom. “I’m there helping him and I love him and I’ve always loved him,” Kardashian, who has a boyfriend that is “really supportive and great,” tells DeGeneres. “And that will never change, and I just feel like it’s a really insensitive thing to fast-forward a divorce.”
