Jennifer Lawrence’s whirlwind year is about to get some more wind. The Oscar-winning actress stars in the final Hunger Games film, out next week, and also leads David O. Russell’s Joy in December. Between those projects, her high-profile friendship with Amy Schumer, and Lawrence’s recent foray into activism thanks to her essay on the wage gap, the last year has been a huge game-changer for the 25-year-old. And it all started when Hunger Games came to an end.

“When I wrapped the Hunger Games, I wrapped — these movies have been my life for so long. They had to come first,” Lawrence told Diane Sawyer in an interview for ABC’s Nightline. “I was also in a relationship with somebody for five years, and we broke up around the same time I wrapped those movies.” Lawrence had been in a long-term relationship Nicholas Hoult, her X-Men costar, since the pair starred in X-Men: First Class.

“Being 24 was this whole year of ‘Who am I without these movies? Who am I without this man?'” she continued.

But despite those questions, Lawrence says she’s hit 25 with a renewed sense of self. “I don’t know if I ever will get married. I’m okay with that. I don’t feel like I need anything to complete me,” she told Sawyer. “I love meeting people. People coming into your life and bringing something. […] I don’t really plan on getting married. I might. I definitely want to be a mother.”
