Here’s a freewheeling rendition of one of Disney’s most memorable musical melodies: Tony award winner Lea Salonga joined Hamilton creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda for a sidewalk performance of “A Whole New World” from Aladdin.

Salonga joined Miranda for Wednesday night’s “Ham 4 Ham,” an unofficial Hamilton preshow in whichcast members and other Broadway stars offer impromptu performances for fans waiting in line for theticket lottery.

Before their shining, shimmering, splendid performance of the Disney number, Salonga shared a little ditty written by Miranda for his ex-girlfriend, a shared acquaintance. Hear both songs in the video below.

Salonga, who provided Princess Jasmine’s singing voice in the 1992 animated musical, is currently starring in Broadway’s Allegiance, about a Japanese-American family forced to relocate to an internment camp during World War II. And Miranda, the mastermind behind the hip-hop take on the life of Alexander Hamilton, is a new Disney inductee; he is writing music for next year’s animated feature Moana, a South Pacific adventure tale.
