Seeing as Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set in the 1920s, more than 50 years before Harry Potter was even born, we won’t be seeing a cameo from everyone’s favorite Boy Who Lived in the upcoming prequel. But even though Daniel Radcliffe has previously said he’s not involved in Fantastic Beasts, he told E! News that he’s very, very excited for Newt Scamander’s story to hit the big screen.

“I can barely keep myself in this chair,” Radcliffe said, laughing. “Yes, I am very excited, but I’ve also been asked about it a lot, and I don’t have any information to give, unfortunately.”

Radcliffe said that he’s seen EW’s first-look photos of Eddie Redmayne as the magizoologist Scamander, adding that he doesn’t have any specific wizard-to-wizard advice for Redmayne.

“No, I don’t think he needs advice — just like, enjoy it,” Radcliffe said. “I don’t think there’s anything to live up to as well, especially because it’s not like there’s original source material which is a very strong narrative. You know, the Fantastic Beasts book is really cool, but it’s a bestiary. I hope he’s really enjoying it and not feeling too much pressure.”
