Rihanna’s second annual Diamond Ball will take place on Dec. 10 in Santa Monica and will benefit her Clara Lionel Foundation, which aims to improve the quality of life in different areas of life across the globe. Lionel Richie will perform at this year’s event and Kevin Hart is set to host.

“I’m so proud of the work the Clara Lionel Foundation has done in its first year and can’t wait to celebrate with the iconic Lionel Richie and incredibly talented Kevin Hart at this year’s Diamond Ball,” Rihanna said in a release.

At the event, Rihanna will present Michael Rapino, the CEO of Live Nation, with the Diamond Honors Award for his commitment to philanthropy. In addition to his work with Live Nation, Rapino and his wife Jolene founded the Rapino Foundation, a development and relief organization that focuses on vulnerable populations in the developing world.

“This foundation is close to my heart and I am so grateful for Michael Rapino’s support and committment to our cause,” Rihanna said

Last year’s Diamond Ball raised over $2 million, which purchased two new pieces of equipment for the Clara Braithwaite Center for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine at Queen Elizabeth’s Hospital in Barbados.

Rihanna’s next album Anti is due out this year, but no release date has been set yet.
