In the world of The Hunger Games, residents of the drab coal-mining sector District 12 are prone to wearing simple, utilitarian garb. Perhaps in keeping with that pragmatic spirit, THG cast member Woody Harrelson turned heads Monday in Paris when he showed up to a photocall for Mockingjay – Part 2 wearing flannel pajama pants, a long-sleeved T-shirt, and nothing but patterned gray socks on his feet.

Harrelson, who plays grizzled mentor Haymitch Abernathy in the Hunger Games movies, was joined by costars Josh Hutcherson, Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and director Francis Lawrence, all of whom opted to wear more conventional attire (e.g., shoes).

While Harrelson is known for his laid-back, if eccentric, style, he did clean up for the evening premiere in the City of Light, donning a gray jacket and striped dress shirt. May the fashion odds be ever in his favor.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 opens Nov. 20.
