Empire: Annie Ilonzeh joins cast

Actress Annie Ilonzeh, who appeared in ABC’s 2011 reboot of Charlie’s Angels, is about to enter the Lyon’s den: EW has exclusively learned the actress is joining Fox’s Empire as TV reporter Harper Scott.

The character is one of the best reporters in the business and is focused on Empire. She’s tough, smart, and not above using her seductive appearance to get answers — this is Empire, after all.

Ilonzeh will begin appearing in Empire‘s final eight episodes which will air in the spring on Fox once the series takes a break after their midseason cliffhanger.
