The stars join Amy Schumer and Taraji P. Henson as Entertainers of the Year

VH1 and Entertainment Weekly have announced more of this year’s hottest stars to be honored at the Big in 2015 celebration: Elizabeth Banks and the breakout cast of Straight Outta Compton – O’Shea Jackson, Jr., Corey Hawkins, and Jason Mitchell. They join previously announced honorees, Amy Schumer and Taraji P. Henson, for the VH1 Big in 2015 with Entertainment Weekly party.

The event – airing Monday, Dec. 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on VH1 – will celebrate the biggest names and moments in pop culture this past year. More entertainers will be announced soon, and the honorees will be featured in EW’s “Entertainers of the Year” issue, on stands Nov. 24.

Banks is coming off a busy year both on-screen and behind the scenes. She’s appeared in Pitch Perfect 2, Wet Hot American Summer, Love & Mercy, Magic Mike XXL, and will soon be seen in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2. She also made her directorial debut with Pitch Perfect 2, is set to return as director for the third installment.

Straight Outta Compton, the biopic about the hip hop group N.W.A, came out in August and grossed over $200 million, becoming the highest-grossing music biopic ever. O’Shea Jackson, Jr. will be accepting the award on behalf of the cast from his father, Ice Cube, whom Jackson Jr. portrays in the film.

The special will be taped on Nov. 15 at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles.
