Long before Bryan Cranston was an Emmy winner for Breaking Bad and Jimmy Fallon was host of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, they spent three episodes working together as brothers on the ’90s soap opera Suspended Suspense. At least that’s the core of the sketch Fallon aired on Monday’s Tonight Show, which found the host and Cranston suspended from wires and reading bad dialogue in service of laughs.

“I don’t know if that really works,” Fallon said after airing a clip from the pretend show.

“In retrospect, we really should have been standing,” Cranston added.
