In between jet skiing, dancing on Billy Joel’s piano, and making short films with Chris Pratt and Aziz Ansari, new best friends Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence have been working on a screenplay. And at the BAFTA Britannia Awards in Los Angeles on Friday, where Schumer accepted the Charlie Chaplin Award for excellence in comedy, she told Access Hollywood that the screenplay is “going great.”

“We just finished a new draft, and we’re just excited about it,” she said. “It’s funny, it’s dirty, it’s real. It’s like us.”

Lawrence revealed earlier this summer that the two were writing a comedy together, with plans for both of them to co-star as sisters.

“Amy and I were creatively made for each other,” Lawrence told The New York Times at the time. “We have different flavors. It’s been the most fun experience of my life. We start the day off on the phone, laughing. And then we send each other pages. And we crack up.”
