Even if you don’t know much about baseball, it’s hard not to appreciate a good rendition of the national anthem. “Confident” singer Demi Lovato stepped up to the plate to belt out “The Star-Spangled Banner” before Game 4 of the World Series.

Lovato took a few dramatic pauses before tackling the song’s higher register. It all worked to her advantage as the crowd cheered her throughout the performance. The official MLB YouTube channel released video of the moment online shortly afterwards.

A number of celebs reached out to Lovato on Twitter to praise her rendition. Billy Ray Cyrus tweeted that she “crushed it outta the park,” while Josh Groban wrote “great anthem.”

Game 4 took place on Saturday between the Kansas City Royals and the New York Mets at Citi Field. Lovato’s performance followed the day after Billy Joel performed the same feat before Game 3.
