The 2003 Cadillac Escalade driven by James Gandolfini’s Tony Soprano during the final three seasons of The Sopranos will go up for auction beginning Nov. 12 through Boston-based company RR Auction.
As noted in a press release, the Escalade “was originally leased through Movie Time Cars Incorporated as one of two identical vehicles used in production, with this specific car used primarily for exterior shots including those showing Tony Soprano and his associates entering, exiting, and driving, as well as in shots where the car appeared in the scene during dialogue.” The truck was famously used by Gandolofini as Soprano chased down rival mafioso Phil Leotardo (Frank Vincent) during a season 5 episode of the HBO series.
