It’s every Survivor contestant’s worst nightmare — a medical emergency involving a loved one back home while you are on the other side of the world. That nightmare happened to Terry Deitz on Wednesday night’s episode of Survivor: Cambodia—Second Chance when Jeff Probst had to pull him from the game due to a medical scare involving Terry’s son, Danny.
Fortunately, there is a happy ending involved: after two open-heart surgeries, Danny underwent a successful heart transplant in September. Now, Terry tells former Survivor favorite Courtney Yates and yours truly all about it on the new edition of Survivor Talk.
Terry explains what he first feared when Probst arrived at his beach in the middle of the night, what happened after he got on the boat to leave, and everything that has transpired since. We also get Terry to reveal just how much of his consoling of Abi was genuine concern and how much was straight strategy.
Get the intel straight from the source as Terry talks about all that and more on the new episode of Survivor Talk. Just watch the video at the top of the post.
