It’s not a midnight run, but Robert De Niro is taking another odd-couple comedy roadtrip. In fact, he even still has Mosely’s sunglasses!

In Dirty Grandpa, he gets to play the outrageous passenger as Grandpa Dick, a foul-mouthed senior heading to a retirement community in Boca Raton. His grandson, Jason (Zac Efron), inherits the task of getting him there — even though his wedding to the boss’s controlling daughter (Julianne Hough) is just days away. Between Atlanta and Boca, Dick pulls his straight-laced grandson into all sorts of trouble — and fun — including frat parties and bar fights.

In this exclusive first look, the pair cruise through Daytona on spring break in Jason’s fiancée’s flamingo-pink convertible. It might blend right into traffic once they reach pastel-colored Boca, but it’s a head-turner in Daytona.

The comedy, which opens in theaters on Jan. 22, was directed by Dan Mazur, who co-wrote Borat and other Sacha Baron Cohen projects. It also co-stars Aubrey Plaza, Jason Mantzoukas, Danny Glover, Adam Pally, and Dermot Mulroney.
