Creed movie: Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, and on what they fight for
In the vein of Straight Outta Compton’s promotional strategy, Creed wants to know what you fight for. The Rocky spinoff launched a campaign in which fans can create their own inspirational videos, and the film’s stars are getting in on the fun.
“My name is Michael B. Jordan, and I fight for my family,” said the actor who plays Apollo Creed’s son Adonis in the film. Creed director Ryan Coogler had the same answer, while Sylvester Stallone, who reprises his role of Rocky Balboa, said he fights for “the underdog.”

While their co-star Tessa Thompson didn’t upload a video, she created a meme. “Giving voice to the unheard is something that moves me,” the actress tweeted. Fans can create their own “#IFight4” meme or video by following the instructions on ifight4.com.
In Creed, Adonis feels a desire to continue his father’s legacy and seeks out Rocky to train him to do so. The film will hit theaters on Nov. 25.
