“The snozzberries taste like snozzberries,” Super Troopers 2 has finally begun filming, and all seems right with the world.

After a fruitful Indiegogo campaign to raise production money, the sequel to the raunchy, beloved film from Broken Lizards has finally emerged in front of the cameras. “And so it begins,” actor Erik Stolhanske (Rabbit) posted on Facebook along with a photo from the set.

Jay Chandrasekhar (Thorny), Steve Lemme (Mac), and Kevin Heffernan (Farva) also returned for the production. “First day on Super Troopers 2,” Chandrasekhar tweeted. Check out their photos below.

In August, the official Broken Lizards website posted an update on the film, teasing “a (near-final) script.” The site also wrote, “For anyone who doesn’t know, two of the Lizards are making out with each other in this movie. There’s also going to be more male nudity – we’re still giving back to the ladies after all these years.”

While no official plot details are known, there’s always this video from the Indiegogo campaign.

Are you excited the long-awaited sequel is happening right meow?
