CeeLo Green is back with another new single. After releasing “Robin Williams” in July, Green debuted “Mother May I” off the upcoming Heart Blanche Friday.

Heart Blanche is the first album the musician has released since his 2012 Christmas album, Cee Lo’s Magic Moment and 2010’s The Lady Killer, which featured hit song “F— You.”

Green is back to work after a controversial few years, which included a no contest plea to a felony of furnishing ecstasy to a woman in 2012, followed by a series of headline-making tweets about the matter and an ensuing apology.

“It was a very redefining moment in my personal and professional life,” he told the Associated Press this week. “I get in front of my creator, humbled, and I ask, ‘What does this mean? What is this supposed to mean for me? What am I supposed to learn from it?’ And [to] have that revealed and have it bestowed upon me is a blessing, of sorts.”
