As we all know by now, this Wednesday (Oct. 21, 2015) is the day Marty McFly comes to the future in Back to the Future Part II. To celebrate, Lyft is running a promo, with the help of Verizon. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., fans in New York City can use a special “Marty McFly Mode” on the Lyft app, which will allow them to request a DeLorean for a free ride for up to 15 minutes.

DeLoreans, despite being known as cool-looking time travel machines, can be somewhat unreliable. Let’s hope these rides end up better than that time Jerry Seinfeld tried to pick up Patton Oswalt in a DeLorean.
