Daniel Craig, who is hitting theaters next month in his fourth outing as James Bond, is poised to take on another of Britain’s greats: Shakespeare.

The actor and David Oyelowo (Selma) will costar in an Off Broadway production of Othello.

Oyelowo will play the title character, while Craig will play the villainous Iago. The production will be staged at the New York Theatre Workshop, and directed by Sam Gold, who won a Tony Award this year for his work on the musical Fun Home.

Craig has appeared on Broadway twice before — in A Steady Rain opposite Hugh Jackman in 2009, and Betrayal in 2013 with Rafe Spall and Rachel Weisz. He’ll be seen next in Spectre, out in U.S. theaters on Nov. 6.

Oyelowo, who played Dr. Martin Luther King in last year’s Selma, has also starred recently in Interstellar, A Most Violent Year, Captive, and the HBO movie Nightingale.

Othello will run at the NYTW next fall, with additional casting and details being announced at a later date.
