Michael Moore’s new documentary, Where to Invade Next, and The 33, which dramatizes the ordeal of the Chilean miners who survived a 2010 cave-in, were announced as Centerpiece Galas at next month’s AFI Fest.

The two movies join a slate of celebrity-driven films that includes Angelina Jolie’s By the Sea, Will Smith’s NFL movie, Concussion, and The Big Short, the Wall Street film that stars Christian Bale, Ryan Gosling, Steve Carell, and Brad Pitt.

AFI Fest also unveiled a slew of Oscar hopefuls in its Special Screenings section, including 45 Years, Charlie Kaufman’s animated Anomalisa, Carol, The Lobster, and Macbeth
