The long-awaited Ratchet & Clark movie is finally coming to the big screen.

Directed by Jericca Cleland and Kevin Monroe and based on the popular video game, the film follows the origin story of the feline-like Ratchet and robot Clank, who team up and travel around the universe (or, the Solana Galaxy), saving it from the evil of Chairman Drek and the Blarg. The new trailer comes on the heels of a recently released re-imagining of the original Ratchet & Clank video game for PlayStation 4 that developers have stated will tie into the upcoming animated film.

While clearly appealing to the “kiddie” demographic, it’s clear from the trailer that the movie is also catering to the audience that grew up playing the games, with the inclusion of over-the-top weapons and a vibrant, video game-esque landscape. The film features the voices of the game’s original actors, as well as the talents of John Goodman, Paul Giamatti, Bella Thorne, Rosario Dawson, and Sylvester Stallone. According to Polygon, the trailer will be shown in theaters today before screenings of Goosebumps.

Ratchet and Clank hits theaters on April 29.
