One of my favorite books from the last decade is John Niven’s American Psycho-meets-Britpop novel KIll Your Friends, the tale of a murderously ambitious A&R man which succeeds in being both hilariously preposterous and horribly credible.

Whether the forthcoming movie adaptation of Kill Your Friends does the book justice remains to be seen — and quite when we will be able to do that seeing is also unclear, as the film doesn’t appear to be have a U.S. release date at present. But you can check out a new, expletive-featuring trailer for the movie, which stars Nicholas Hoult and James Corden, below.
