Fallout 4 live-action trailer takes a post-apocalyptic stroll
What a lovely day for a walk in the wasteland.
Bethesda Softworks has released a new live-action trailer for Fallout 4, taking viewers for a stroll through the post-apocalyptic setting of the open-world videogame. In keeping with the series’ ambulatory vibe and retrofuturistic aesthetic, the one-minute video is set to the sounds of Dion’s 1961 hit “The Wanderer.”
The spot finds the sole survivor of Vault 111 venturing into the harsh sun of a nuclear-devastated New England, where he encounters mutant threats, hovering automatons, a handy suit of power armor, and of course the trusty canine sidekick Dogmeat.
Fallout 4 drops Nov. 10. Watch the new trailer above.
