Mad Max: Fury Road has already proven it deserves its own Mario Kart-style video game, and a Mad Max game already released this year, but what would a classic gaming take on Max Rockatansky’s latest adventure look like? Adorably chaotic, as 8 Bit Cinema showcases.

Cinefix boils down some of Fury Road‘s biggest moments into pixelated form. From the capture of Max to the giant sandstorm to, yes, the Doof Warrior popping up, Cinefix has compressed Miller’s thrilling spectacle into a first-generation Nintendo videogame.
