When Lego Marvel’s Avengers was announced, the latest entry in TT Games’ long-running Lego series looked to be a case of pairing down scope. But the new trailer, and a talk with the developers, suggests the exact opposite is true, as the developer hopes to outdo itself with it’s latest marvelous outing.

A new trailer for the game debuted at New York Comic Con, revealing that Lego Marvel’s Avengers is not just going to focus on the two big-screen Avengers outings. As the trailer indicates, there will be story content covering much of Phase 2 and even some of Phase 1 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The game will include story content for both Avengers films, both Captain America films, Thor: The Dark World, and Iron Man 3. The developers also revealed that, in addition to using some of the voice work from the film, Marvel stalwarts like Clark Gregg, Cobie Smulders, and Hayley Atwell were brought in for additional voicework. These additions include missions centered around Agent Carter in the game’s New York hub world, which transforms the brightly colored streets of Manhattan into a black-and-white, 1940’s era version.

The game’s developers also told EW that while the focus is of course on the heroes’ cinematic outings, TT Games is fitting in as many characters, artwork, and other nods to the characters’ comic book origins. Check out the new look at the game, which is arriving January 26 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows PC, Wii U, and Nintendo 3DS.
