Ciara’s spooky new cover of the Rolling Stones’ “Paint It Black” now has a music video to go with it, courtesy of Vin Diesel and The Last Witch Hunter.

The video, which Diesel shared Monday on his Facebook page, sets the song to footage from the fantasy film, in which he stars as an 800-year-old immortal protecting humanity from evil supernatural beings.

“He is the most hardened and deadliest soldier due to his immortality,” he told EW of his character. “We assume the immortality is a gift, but we learn from understanding his world that there is a certain pain that he has been harboring for so long and there’s a certain isolation that the character’s had to live with.”

Watch below to see Diesel in action (and, at points, sporting a pretty massive beard). The film, which also stars Elijah Wood and Rose Leslie and features Ciara’s song on its soundtrack, opens in theaters on Oct. 23.
