A big part of what’s so exciting about Netflix’s release of Beasts of No Nation is how easy the streaming giant is making it to see the great, challenging film.

Getting wide audiences to watch a movie about child soldiers in Africa — even a gorgeous-looking one from True Detective director Cary Fukunga — was always going to be a hard sell, but it’s a much easier one when all people have to do is click a button on their remote.

The final trailer for Beasts of No Nation, which debuts on Netflix and in select theaters on Oct. 16, is a good encapsulation of the violence, terror, desperation, and joy present throughout the film. You can preview the powerful performance delivered by Idris Elba and newcomer Abraham Attah, as well as the striking images from Fukunaga in the trailer above.
