Following a rocky start, Minority Report is being trimmed to 10 episodes.

The first season of the Steven Spielberg-produced sci-fi drama was originally slated for 13 episodes; Fox announced the cut Friday. The show’s 10th episode, which had been scheduled as the fall finale, will now serve as the season finale and possibly series finale. Minority Report will continue in its current Monday 9 p.m. timeslot.

The announcement comes after a slow start for the fledgling series, a TV sequel to the 2002 Tom Cruise-starring film. September’s Minority Report season premiere debuted as night’s lowest-rated show among adults 18-49 on a major broadcast network.

The series stars Meagan Good, Stark Sands, Nick Zano, Daniel London, Laura Regan, Li Jun Li, and Wilmer Valderrama.
