Are New York’s beloved dance-rockers LCD Soundsystem reuniting in 2016 for several high-profile gigs? According to one report, yes. On Thursday, the website Consequence of Sound reported James Murphy and Co. were planning to perform several “high profile music festivals in the US and UK.”

But a source tells EW LCD Soundsystem aren’t planning a return. “There is no truth to a reunion,” the source says. “There’s not a secret bunker where they’re all meeting to talk about reuniting.”

Kris Petersen, manager at the band’s label DFA, shared several tweets, denying the reports as well:

Still, all hope for LCD fans isn’t lost. A second source tells EW that the group has offers to reunite for a number of headlining spots at 2016 summer festivals in the US, though the group has not committed to a gig.

After ten years and three groundbreaking albums, LCD Soundsystem called it quits with a blowout show, dubbed their “funeral party,” at New York’s Madison Square Garden in April 2011.

A rep for LCD Soundsystem had no comment about the reunion report.
