Hailee Steinfeld has appeared on late night multiple times promoting various acting roles, but Tuesday night she made her debut as a musical guest. She performed her single “Love Myself” on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

“Tonight I was the musical guest on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon,” she wrote on Instagram. “My first time on the show I was 14 years old and never thought I’d be back to perform my first single. Love you long time Jimmy! Thanks for having me. :) PS I met the legendary Lady Gaga and am so inspired by her words of wisdom.”

“Love Myself” debuted in August and quickly became an anthem for female empowerment. Steinfeld, who was nominated for an Academy Award for her role in 2011’s True Grit, signed with Republic Records earlier this year and is expected to release her first album soon.
