The new horror anthology film Tales of Halloween (out in theaters, on iTunes, and via VOD, Oct. 16) boasts 10 interlinked terror tales directed by 11 filmmakers, including Neil Marshall (The Descent), Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, III, & IV), Lucky McKee (All Cheerleaders Die), and Mike Mendez (Big Ass Spider!).

That’s a heady lineup more than matched by the film’s list of notable onscreen talent, one which merely begins with Pat Healy (Cheap Thrills), Barry Bostwick (The Rocky Horror Picture Show), Noah Segan (Some Kind of Hate), Booboo Stewart (The Twilight Saga), Greg Grunberg (Heroes), Clare Kramer (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Alex Essoe (Starry Eyes), and the great Lin Shaye (Insidious).

Speaking of heads — specifically heads no longer connected to bodies — you can check out a gruesome exclusive clip below featuring Amanda Moyer and a masked Nick Principe in the Mendez-directed tale, “Friday the 31st.”
