It’s been 15 years since Gilmore Girls premiered on the WB, but thanks to the show’s excellent writing, dedicated fanbase, and a recent Netflix deal, the trials and tribulations of Rory and Lorelai Gilmore are just as popular as when they were on air. More than a decade later, the show is still famous for the amount of smart dialogue creator Amy Sherman-Palladino was able to squeeze in by having her actors speak quickly, and the brunt of that fast-talking responsibility fell on Lauren Graham and acting newbie Alexis Bledel.

Rory and Lorelai were always so in sync with their lines of thinking and references, that it can be tricky to remember whether it was mother or daughter that said some of the show’s most memorable lines. Think you can speak fluent Gilmore? Take EW’s quiz to find out.
